About Our Area
The Lincoln National Forest, New Mexico is where
75% of our hunts take place. Our hunting area borders
the Mescalero Apache Indian Reservation, which is
famous for its world-class elk hunting and mule
deer hunting. We conduct most of our elk hunts,
mule deer hunts, black bear hunts, cougar hunts
and turkey hunts in Lincoln National Forest, New
Mexico. The terrain will vary with elevations from
4,000 to 10,000 feet. Antelope hunts, javelina hunts,
and ibex hunts take place on the low plains country
surrounding the Lincoln National Forest, New Mexico. |

Most
of our hunts are based from the town of Cloudcroft,New
Mexico with an elevation of 9,000 ft. and a population
of 600. Cloudcroft, NM is located in the heart of
the Lincoln National Forest, just 45 minutes from
Ruidoso and Ski Apache, 2 hours from El Paso, 20
minutes from Alamogordo, NM. Weather will vary from
20 to 70 degrees with rain and snow possible.
In addition to hunting, the Cloudcroft area is known
as a year-round mountain play land for: hiking,
mountain biking, horseback riding, skiing, snowshoeing,
sledding, camping, golf, photography, disc golf,
bird watching and more! |
