Hunting
with Circle Seven Guided Hunts
If you’re looking to take home a trophy,
New Mexico is definitely a place where the big
ones run. Because New Mexico is a limited draw
on some species, we have exceptional trophy quality
game. Every year several Bull Elk in the 300 to
360 class are taken.
75%
of Circle Seven’s hunts take place in the
Lincoln National Forest, which features a million
and a half acres of abundant game and breath-
taking beauty. Our hunting area borders the Mescalero
Apache Indian Reservation, which is famous for
its world class Elk hunting and Mule Deer hunting. |
|
| We
conduct most of our elk, mule deer, black bear,
cougar and turkey hunts in the Lincoln National
Forest. The terrain will vary with elevations
from 4,000 to 10,000 feet. Antelope, Javelina
and Ibex hunts take place in the low plains country
surrounding the Lincoln National Forest.
Once
you arrive at your hunting destination via 4-wheel
drive, all hunting is on foot. Please inform us
of your physical capabilities so we can fit the
hunt to your abilities.
Most of our hunts are one hunter – one guide.
The number of hunters per hunt is kept to a maximum
of four. This allows us to better focus on the
needs and interest of each hunter. All of our
guides are licensed with a minimum of five years
experience.
Licenses
for New Mexico trophy class games are issued through
lottery drawings. Circle Seven submits draws on
behalf of its hunters and has had outstanding
success in landing the draws we’ve participated
in. We have land owner permits available for elk,
antelope, mule deer, oryx and Barbary sheep ranging
from $1,500 to $3000. This is an additional charge
if you request this type of permit.
Hunts
can be purchased fully accommodated, to include
accommodations, or guided only. Family, disabled/handicapped,
youth and group hunts are most popular. Contact
us by phone or email today for complete pricing
and availability. We can tailor a hunt to meet
your specific needs, and create a hunting memory
that will last a lifetime.
